News & Events
The objects of the Club shall be:
- to encourage and promote the breeding of purebred German Wirehaired Pointers and do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;
- to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which German Wirehaired Pointers shall be judged;
- to conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, field trials, hunting tests for pointing breeds, and obedience trials, exhibitions and matches and any other AKC events for which the club is eligible under the rules and regulations of the AKC.
